Welcome

The underlying philosophy of my practice is that increased self awareness will elicit profound change, and enable us to feel and act from the love that is inherent in all people.

I believe we are best able to become more aware of ourselves and what we are up to through studying our relationships. I will work with you to discover what is true about the way you relate to partners, family, friends, work, money, sex...you name it. And yes, at some point we will likely be talking about your childhood. The objective is to study how your brain functions to bring past experiences into the present moment, thus distorting current relationships and creating conflict. This work is about freeing yourself from those unconscious processes by bringing them into your awareness and clearing trauma. Integrating traumatic material can enable you to differentiate between then and now, so you are more free to make conscious choices about how you relate today.

I work with individuals, couples and groups in an environment where it is safe to study the self honestly, to face problems, to responsibly experience the intense emotions we all have, to laugh and to heal. The course of treatment varies; the approach may be comprehensive or focused on a specific goal. In both cases treatment is designed to elicit positive change.
